The best times to travel in Indonesia are from April to September when the weather is typically dry. October to March can see heavy downpours especially from November through January, we do not recommend heading to off beaten track areas where roads can see heavy flooding.
Most popular areas in Bali are busy throughout the year, but May, June and September can see lesser crowds outside of the school summer vacations. The dry season is also ideal for snorkeling and diving off the coast of Bali, Lombok and Komodo Islands.
